A new little spot has opened up in Tampa and if you haven’t been there, you’re going to want to check it out. Fancy Free Nursery is located just north of downtown in Seminole Heights. My friend Sarah (from SH Digital) and I stopped by the shop after lunch at The Hall, a new food hall right around the corner. We wandered the indoor and outdoor space checking out all of the fun plants they have for sale, trying to choose what we wanted to take home.
We talked to one of the owners for a bit while we were there. She was kind and extremely knowledgeable on the subject of plants, whereas I am far from knowledgeable in this department. As in, I killed the very first succulent I ever had. So hearing which plants were easiest to keep alive was helpful for a plant killer like me 😉
I’m a sucker for good puns, and this one I love. Once I become a plant lady and can keep plants alive I’ll definitely have this cute little sign nestled in with my plants at home.
Fancy Free also hosts events. *Cue the excitement* Anything from Christmas parties to bridal showers, you name it they can host it. Before becoming a nursery, this space was once a bar. Which means you can bring just about anything you want to drink along with food and decor, however you won’t need much decor with all of the plants scattered throughout.
To follow along with Fancy Free Nursery, you can find them on Facebook and Instagram (I love their feed). And if any of you guys do an event their anytime soon I’d love to know how it turned out and see photos!
