On Swann: Tampa, FL

It’s always great finding a new spot to go to dinner with the family, grab drinks with friends or enjoy a mid-day work lunch at. So when it came to picking where to go for lunch with a friend, it was a no brainer. On Swann was first on our list. We had been before for dinner, but with the new lunch menu rolling out a few weeks ago we knew we had to try it. With having eaten our fair share of charcuterie boards and sipping on wine and rosé last time, we knew lunch would be equally as delicious. We weren’t disappointed. From the appetizer, to the drinks, to the meals, everything was absolutely amazing. I give this place 5 stars and 100 heart-eye emojis. Yeah, it’s THAT good.

On Swann -

Two words. Marinated. Olives. If you know me, you know I love anything and everything olive. We started off lunch with these guys, marinated with orange and rosemary. I highly recommend them. They were delicious and the perfect snack to enjoy while oogling over the menu and picking what our meals would be.

The burger at On Swann is hands down one of the best I’ve had. I love a burger that’s loaded with great toppings but not so piled high that you can barely pick it up to eat. This burger, made with pimento cheese, bacon, pickled red onion, frisée and aioli had all of the amazing toppings and flavors without the frustration of wondering how you’re actually going to eat it. So basically it’s the perfect burger.


This grilled cheese sandwich. Yes, yes, yes. Made with prosciutto, taleggio, fontina, provolone, fig jam and mostarda all between two crispy slices of sourdough bread. The flavors are so amazing and the sandwich has the perfect amount of crunch. Paired with a side of house chips, this dish makes for the perfect lunch.

On Swann is quickly becoming a new favorite of ours. It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for any occasion. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s only a few minutes down the street from us right in Hyde Park Village. With something for everyone and some seriously amazing food, it’s become pretty popular so I would definitely recommend a reservation. Open everyday of the week for both lunch and dinner, you’ve got no excuse not to try this new South Tampa hot spot. Find out more and take a look at the On Swann menu here.

    Is it possible to get the recipe for On Swann’s short rib ragu?

      You might be able to contact the restaurant and get some info on this. I don’t have it but wish I did!
