We all appreciate a little weekend getaway every now and then. And we deserve them! It’s nice to be able to step away from the constant go, go, go life we live on a daily basis and enjoy a little bit of down time. Living in Florida we know two things, it’s pretty much always sunny (except for those afternoon summer showers) and we have beaches, lots of beaches. I’ve put together a list of fun weekend getaways from all over the state that hopefully will come in handy next time you’re planning a little time away.

I love this! I was just talking to my husband about planning a trip to Florida in the spring. I’ve only ever been to Destin and Orlando and would love to visit a few of the other places on your list. I’m going to look at a few of these hotels and dream now. (It’s about 20 degrees in Kentucky tonight!)

I love Destin so much! Amelia Island is smaller and perfect for some quiet time away.
